57. Ronald Hugh Tweedie BARBER JP+ was born on 3 Sep 1948. He served in the military in Sandhurst College and the TA. Lowick farm having been turned into a Limited Company in 1940, He became principal shareholder by inheriting shares from his childless uncle Ian and others.
He also inherited Melkington from his childless aunt MAVIS and her husband Scott Briggs.
1974 Lowick and Melkington combined into one estate.

2003 sold Lowick Estate.

2005 appointed Jockey Club Steward.

Ronald Hugh Tweedie BARBER JP+ and Veronica Ann HERRIOT+ were married on 22 Mar 1980 in Parish Church, Berwick-upon-Tweed. Veronica Ann HERRIOT+ (daughter of Allan Darwell HERRIOT JP and Patience Dorothy Verty (Paddy) ANDERSON) was born on 3 Jun 1951 in Berwick-upon-Tweed. She studied at Oxford Polytech (3 years Hotel Management)

Worked in London, both in hotels and self-employed. Ronald Hugh Tweedie BARBER JP+ and Veronica Ann HERRIOT+ had the following children:

82	i.	On 30 Oct 2007 Thomas(2) James Anthony (Tom) BARBER+ was a Trainee with MTV, Programming & Production in emerging markets in London. He was born 12 Mar1983. He was educated in Spanish in Edinburgh Uni., Scotland after Radley College. 2002 went to Chile with Raleigh.
83	ii.	Lucinda Patience (Cinders) BARBER BA+ received a degree in 2007 in Oxford Brookes University, Media Communications etc. She was born 6 Mar1985 in Edinburgh. She was educated in Longridge Towers, Mowden Hall, Queen Margarets, Oxford Brookes Uni. She was educated advanced cookery .Jan to Apr 2004 in Nr Cork, Eire. Oct 2003 went with Raleigh International to Chile. 2004 went to Oxford on a 3 years course.
84	iii.	Jonathan Hugh Allan (Johnny) BARBER+ was born on 3 Mar 1987 in Edinburgh Hosp.. He was ill with near cot-death in 1987 in Edinburgh Hosp.. He was educated in Radley College. Feb 2006: went to Sabah, Sarawak, Malaysia with Raleigh International for 3 months.
