Dr Thomas Pearson HERRIOT+ and "Peggy" STORMONT DARLING were married in Kelso/Edinburgh. "Peggy" STORMONT DARLING died after 1960 in Berwick-Upon-Tweed (East Ord). She was born in Kelso. I know very little. Not even sure of maiden name.

Father was a solicitor in Kelso, thought to have blotted his copybook in that profession & been "struck off".Certainly had a large house there.

Peggy was a keen breeder of cairn terriers in Horndean after being widowed and had a female helper, who "got her claws into her" and was taking her over in every way.

Peggy was rescued from this "at dead of night" and taken to East Ord by her brother-in-law David, where she lived out her life in peace.(The "female helper was bought off.)
