James(3) HERRIOT and Mary Moreland Houston DONALDSON were married in Jun 1935 in Duns. Mary Moreland Houston DONALDSON (daughter of Robert Houston DONALDSON and Elizabeth) was born in 1902 in Glasgow. She died in 1974 in Edinburgh. She was buried in Cremated Edinburgh (Warriston). Daughter of Robert & Elizabeth.

Became owner of HerriotBank on death of husband 1941,and she sold it 1946 to Trustees of Wm Girvan & Sons

(who sold it on to Willy Steel). James(3) HERRIOT and Mary Moreland Houston DONALDSON had the following children:
