164. James(4) Robb Allan HERRIOT+ was born on 10 Oct 1952 in Berwick-upon-Tweed. He was educated from 1957 in local, Berwick Secondary (Church), Mowden Hall, Fettes College, NorthumberlandTech.. He was living from 1970 in Newcastle, London, Nottingham, Crookham, Horncliffe. He was Self Employed.Ch'man & Dir (Founder) Callerton Kitchens Etc. He was Selling videos and such, managing stores, house developer, kitchen design & instal (own business). He owned Showroom & ladiy's parlour. in Spittal, Berwick. He lived own house in Crookham then Horncliffe. From primary sch.onwards stood up to bullies & for underdog. Left sch. ASAP but subsequently Gained A.level English thanks to a Mrs McDowall.End of formal education.

Went into retailing music reproduction Eqpt. Gateshead & London,rising to successful shop manager in Nottingham.

Set up as Property Developer on Tyneside,himself digging drains with own hands.

Found unreliability of kitchen unit suppliers universal,ergo there was opening for a reliable one ,thus began Callerton Kitchens in small way.Callerton (and/or its latest names) now has its own factory making furniture for kitchens etc.& its 40+ independant distributors in UK.

Became Chairman of his national Trade Association,KFMA.

Education:Horncliffe Primary, Mowden Hall Prep school near Hexham, Fettes College.

Founder partner and later Chairman & MD of Callerton KItchens Ltd.

James(4) Robb Allan HERRIOT+ and Deborah Margaret YOUNG SRN, NDN+ were married on 14 Oct 1978 in Gosforth Parish Church. Deborah Margaret YOUNG SRN, NDN+ (daughter of Donald YOUNG and Margaret BAILES) was born on 15 Jan 1954 in Maternity Home, Wallsend. She was Stae Registered Nurse /National Distric Nurse,.Proprietor "Elixir Beauty".. Debbie was a nurse and a sister in NHS.Later after an interval she re-trained as a District Nursing Sister.



Lived in rented homes in & around Newcastle,then in own self- converted school in Crookham,then with Paddy & me while having The Stables next door largely converted.Settled there and enlarged.



After children weaned she trained for a year as a Health & Beauty specialist with a view to setting up own business. This she did in Horncliffe, and expansion took it to Spittal.The business thrives & is called Elixir. James(4) Robb Allan HERRIOT+ and Deborah Margaret YOUNG SRN, NDN+ had the following children:

247	i.	Louise Jane (Weezy) HERRIOT BA (Hons)+ was born on 16 Jan 1983 in Gosforth. She was educated from 1988 in Longridge Towers, CEU.. She received a degree in Jul 2004 in CEU (Central University of England). In Jul 2006 she was Marketing Executive in Tods Murray, Solicitors, Edinburgh. 1999 School Prefect, 1st XI hockey At University of Central England (Birmingham) read Management, Design & Communications (Business Design & Languages) for 3 years.
248	ii.	Simon Robb (Si) HERRIOT BA+ was born on 16 Apr 1985 in Gosforth. He was educated from 1990 in Longridge Towers, Loughboro' Uni. He received a degree in 2007 in Loughborough Uni': BA(2/1). Read Politics with Communications & Media Studies. In Aug 2007 he was Trainee Manager, Majestic Wines. He was living in The Stables (home). Captained South of Scotland under 15 ceicket XI. July 2000; final Scottish Youth cricket trials at Fettes College for international 3 day matches scored 198 runs incl 102 n.o., took 12 wickets.(Did not meet over-simplifiedqualifications for being a Scot, so could not be selected.) Winter 2001-02; Trained with under 17 Scottish squad. (again couldn't be selected) Rugger; school 1st XV. Field spotrs; Victor Ludorum 2003. 2003-04;Deputy Head pupil Longridge Towers.
